How to export Solana transactions for Koinly

Step 1: try Koinly's own wallet sync first

Koinly can import a Solana wallet from its public address (Add wallet → Solana → paste address). That is free to try and should be your first step. Problems people report: missing or mislabelled swaps, unknown memecoins with no price, and gaps on very active wallets.

Step 2: if the sync is wrong, use a CSV instead

Important: Koinly advises against mixing its API sync and a CSV import for the same wallet, because it can create duplicates. If you switch to CSV, delete the synced wallet first or import into a fresh wallet.

Koinly accepts its Universal CSV format. The columns are:

Date, Sent Amount, Sent Currency, Received Amount, Received Currency, Fee Amount, Fee Currency, Net Worth Amount, Net Worth Currency, Label, Description, TxHash

Ways to get the CSV

Shortcut: SolExport builds the Universal CSV in your browser from a wallet address. A 20-row preview is free; the full 365 days costs 5 USDC. Limits: up to 1000 transactions, tokens without USD price appear by mint, and it is not tax advice. Check the preview before paying.

Step 3: review in Koinly

After import, check "Missing purchase history" warnings and duplicate transfers between your own wallets; mark them as internal transfers.
